Instagram Style, Accessory and Outfit Photos | The Kina's BlogIt’s been over a year and I’m still very much in love with Instagram. I try to take at least one photo a day, this way I have some type of visual cue to remember each day of the year. For me, it’s like a visual diary and I love getting inspiration from other instagrammers that post on the regular.

One of my usual posts are of my outfits. For me, what I’m wearing always helps remind me of what I did on that particular day and I can go back and flip through my instagram when I’m feeling like I have nothing to wear. It’s like a catalogue of my closet! Today’s collection of photos are recent outfits and accessories I’ve posted on the gram, hope you enjoy!

Insta New York City

Welp, it’s Monday and I’m already missing NYC and CK so I decided to round-up all my favorite New York City Instagrams from last week to share with you all. It was a short trip, but oh so much fun. The 3 days I spent in the city were filled with sister time, friend time, good food and amazing touristy sights to see. We of course finally dined at Momofuku Ssam, hit up the High Line, Brooklyn Bridge, 9/11 Memorial, Washington Square Park and SoHO for some shopping at Top Shop. Can’t wait to go back, but until then the BF, Lucius and I will be busy moving into our new apartment! I’ll make sure to post up some pictures as soon as the apartment is good and ready!

 

InstaWeek – Sister Time & Style

Last week my (BK) instagram saw some heavy photo traffic, so I decided to edit the photos down and theme today’s InstaWeek post around looks from last week. I’m not always able to have someone take pictures of my look fo the day, so I have been trying to capture them on Instagram. As you can see, the J.Crew Crystal necklace Jon got me is still in heavy, heavy rotation and I don’t think that will be changing anytime soon – I absolutely love it!

And, of course I couldn’t help but sneak in a sister picture of CK and I looking lovely at the Jack Goldstein exhibit opening at the Orange County Museum of Art. The exhibition was lovely, I’ll have to go back again and spend some more time watching the videos. If you live in the Orange County area, I recommend popping over and taking a  look. Everytime I come across this Elie Saab gown I can’t help but feel like I need it/want it in my closet ASAP. I mean it would make the most perfect wedding dress. | I used 200 of my Sephora Rewards points on the St. Tropez gradual tanner and thus far I couldn’t be happier with it. The lotion smells good and I’ve noticed a gradual change in color and it’s been two days | Made it to the gym a little more regularly this week, woohoo! | Finally used my Gossip Girl Birchbox Color Club nail polish to glam up my digits!

Broke out the bright orange wedges to wear with my cobalt blue denim. | Amped up my usual arm party with a bit of turquoise. | Warm weather this weekend meant bare legs, sandals and stripes. | Cobalt blue Old Navy denim, gray ankle booties and a burn-out sweater from Brandy Melville made for the perfect Starbucks outfit.

Last week on the fashion front…

I rocked my H&M Floral Print Pants in Vancouver, received my Gossip Girl Birchbox, had a neutral and sparkly arm party and took some outfit photos with Sara B that I’ll be posting up tomorrow.

On the life front…

I was still in Vancouver for a conference and didn’t get to sightsee very much, but we were in downtown so every day I was able to look out and get a load of this view. Mother’s Day was super fun, we had an amazing lunch at Fashion Island and then headed over to our favorite Peruvian restaurant Nory’s for dinner.

Some of CK’s instaweek highlights included: taking our Mom to Umami Burger for the very first time, eating some of Mom’s homemade ceviche, a visit to Irvine’s new Daiso Japanese store (aka Hi-Chew Heaven) and a fun overnight mini-vaca to LA. We finally remembered to get some of CK’s shot into the weekly round-up, now we just need to figure out how to get both of our Instagram feeds on the the blog as well.

The highlights of my week weren’t too crazy as I was a little under the weather for a few days, but when I was out and about the week included: arm parties and swag, Starbucks in Santa Monica and the start of By Invitation Only: How we built Gilt and changed the way millions shop. I can’t wait to get through the rest of the Gilt book and share some of the fun shots we took in Santa Monica yesterday on the blog. Stay tuned for a fun post tomorrow!
