The day after Christmas I popped over to SoHo to pick up some gift cards and I decided to take a detour into All Saints. CK and I are both big fans of All Saints, and if we could we’d pretty much take any item from their store. When we were in SoHo for CK’s birthday I had spotted these Canvas Booties and it was love at first sight, so when I saw them on sale the day after Christmas I knew it was meant to be. I mean, really if I didn’t get it I woulda been kicking myself later!
I’m so excited to add my first piece of All Saints into my closet and know that they’ll be in the mix all year round. They’re the perfect little boot to rock with faux leather in the Winter and short shorts in the Summer!
Don’t you all just love falling in love with an item and coming back to it again on SALE! Do any of you stalk items until they go on sale? I think it’s quite effective, what do you all think do you wait or take the plunge right away?

Don’t you just love reconnecting with old pieces in your closet? Finding something I haven’t worn in forever and falling in love with that piece all over again is one of my favorite things. It’s like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens!
A few weeks ago I reconnected with my over the knee suede heeled boots. Now let me just tell you, I purchased these lovely boots over 3 years ago before over the knee was all the rage, and boy oh boy am I glad I did. If I recall correctly they were a measly $30 at some random store at the mall. At the time many a friend said I was channeling Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but I beg to differ think they channel more of a Rachel Zoe. Now that they’re back in my life I don’t know how I went so long without them!

Printed Tights

One item I love wearing over and over again during the colder winter months: printed tights. You can get them thick or thin, textured or sparkly, the possibilites are endless and they never cease to liven up your look.
I picked a few of my favorite HUE tights to share with you all. Whether you’re looking for sheer, opaque, printed, knit or lined, HUE always has an option and they’re incredibly affordable. If you’re looking to spend a little more money I totally recommend Commando tights. These are the most comfortable tights I’ve EVER worn!
Happy Birthday CK

Last week I was in NYC to celebrate CK’s epic Birthday. We had a fantastic time dining, dancing and shopping. I couldn’t be happier that I was able to celebrate with her on the east coast. On her actual birthday we spent the day brunching, staring at the Manhattan skyline and shopping vintage. I have inkling it was one of her best birthdays yet!
CK opted to wear her beautifully beaded floral print dress to ring in her birthday. By pairing it with her ivory colored military boots, she gave it both some extra edge and comfort. You can’t see it here, but she’s rocking an amazing bolera we scored the night before at the Brooklyn Bazaar. This piece is from Antoinette’s in Brooklyn, she’s got amazing stuff!

The soft rays of the sun during the much coveted twilight hour always manage to create the most ethereal photos. Add in this Free People lace dress and it would, as ironic and corny as it sounds, be the perfect time to prance around the beach dancing to Ellie Goulding’s Lights. I’m a huge fan of swaying to the music with my eyes closed, I mean isn’t everyone? Okay, maybe it’s just me, but honestly it doesn’t matter what kind of music it is, I always feel the most connected to the beat and lyrics when I can’t see anything around me. It just becomes me and the music as one.

I’ve been wearing this orange Free People thermal non-stop since we got back from NYC. It’s so soft, roomy and it goes with pretty much everything. The bright orange color gives every outfit a pop of color and its loose structure makes it the perfect contrast piece to a mini-skirt.
I wore this look for my Birthday dinner and to me, the whole look just screamed dressed up Fall outfit! Any pieces you have all been wearing non-stop? Do share, because I may end up scooping them up!

Plaid + Billy’s Bakery

Words cannot describe how excited I was to finally wear my plaid tunic and quilted vest! So lame I know, but it had been so hot in California I was looking forward to getting my Fall on. CK took these photos of me against this fun graffiti wall near the Highline right after we picked up some sweet treats from Billy’s Bakery in Chelsea. Unfortunately yours truly is still a huge gossip aficionado (I’ve tried to fight the addiction unsuccessfully , so I was quite aware of the fact that it’s Katie Holmes’ favorite bakery and was semi-bummed we didn’t catch a glimpse of fierce Siri. But, I guess it’s for the better, I’m sure Siri would have made me cry after she gave me and my outfit the once over.
