Just got back home from a lovely Christmas in NYC. I’ve got loads of photos to edit and post up on the bog, but in the meantime enjoy this last minute NYE outfit inspiration. I’m not even sure what we’re doing yet, but I know some element of Glitz & Glam will definitely be incorporated. XOXO – BK

U-C-L-A FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

Old Navy Boy’s UCLA Bruins Long SleeveTee | Steve Madden ‘Olympiaa’ Sneakers | J.Brand ‘Aidan’ Slouchy Boyfriend Jeans | Madewell ‘Transport ‘Backpack | Gold Leaf Headband | D&G Sunglasses

I couldn’t resist joining in on this weeks Friday’s Fancies Game Day theme and rep my beloved Bruins. I love repping my team, but I like to do it in a classy way. So my game day outfits never did and never will incorporate any ripped cropped t-shirts or makeshift jersey dresses. I prefer an oversized tee, some boyfriend jeans, a gold head band and fun shoes. And with what we’ve seen thus far this season should be a good one for UCLA!

Side note. You know how people always call college the best years of your life, well now that I’m in my late twenties I totally know what everyone was talking about. I would give almost anything to go back and live in my GPhiB sorority house and take the lovely walk down to Westwood. There will never be a time in my life where I can replicate that precious experience, and I guess I’m kind of trying to apply that same mentality to Bentley’s passing. I know there’s nothing I can do to bring him back, so I’m just trying to remember everything I loved so much about him and our time together and know that nothing can ever take away how special it truly was. I’m starting to realize that regardless of the situation, a fond memory is a fond memory and the elation my heart feels is what I have left and I am going to start embracing that.

The Classic Tee

Black Kain Modal T-Shirt | Elizabeth & James Oscar Printed Shorts | House of Harlow ‘Chelsea’ Sunglasses | Forever 21 Cuff | Maison Martin Margiela Sandals

Lately I’ve become consumed with wanting anything and everything that catches my eye on Pinterest and Instagram. And while this has led to many lovely purchases, I’ve definitely lost sight of focusing on my personal style. I’ve morphed into a consumer of many, many trendy things which if I sit back and reflect on are not really my style at all. So I’ve decided to roger rabbit it back up and get back in tune with my roots which include a lot of neutrals, sleek modern lines and pops of print and color here and there. Black and I reunited today when I was creating this Friday’s Fancy’s post and I couldn’t be any happier!

Time To Color Block

Red Silk Chloe Blouse | Mint Green J.Crew Skinny Jeans | Zara Shopper Tote | J.Crew Classic Bangles | Snake Skin Madewell Sandals

TGIF. It’s time for some Friday’s Fancies! This week’s theme over at Long Distance Loving was color blocking (make sure to check all the lovely ladies out). Lately I’ve been loving the combination of mint green and bold red. Throw in some neutral accessories and some python print flats and you’re ready for the weekend. I’m really hoping these mint green J.Crew skinnies will go on sale soon so I can add them to my closet!

May your weekend be filled with Peace, Love & Style – Bettina

[The Collage] The Bright, The Bold and The Beautiful

Bauble Cascade Necklace | Equipment Blouse | Current / Elliot Boyfriend Jean | Blue Madewell Suede Postscript Peep-Toe Wedge

Bright, Bold and Beautiful – that’s what you’ll be in this fabulous outfit. This collage was inspired by these amazing blue suede shoes! I mean, the color of these wedges is just divine, and I decided to add in another pop of bold by pairing them with a bright orange Equipment blouse. One-tuck this blouse into a pair of boyfriend jeans and add in a bauble of a necklace and you’ve got a classy and bold brunch outfit.

Rock The White | Friday’s Fancies

Happy Friday Lovies! Well Memorial Day has come and gone, so you know what that means…it’s time to rock the white! I am a big fan of white out white for the warm Summer months. Here are some of my favorite white pieces I’d love to integrate into my wardrobe. Hope you all have a good weekend! xoxo-Bettina

The Maxi Skirt

For CK and I the maxi skirt is an essential year round staple. Whether it’s jersey, chiffon or silk, a maxi dress can easily be dressed up or down, making it the perfect Spring and Summer staple. I’d love to get the Rick Owens maxi to show some leg, but its price point is a little steep. Hopefully I can snag one before Summer for much, much less. xoxo-Bettina
