The Oscar de la Renta show manages to take my breath away each and every season. I don’t know when it started, but ever since I can remember caring about fashion, Mr. de la Renta has always remained my numero uno each and every fashion week. Maybe it’s the spanish name, our Peruvian household is also big on Carolina Herrrera, or maybe it’s the gown SJP so elegantly donned on Sex and The City; whatever it is I wait with bated breath for his designs to saunter down the runway with the anticipation and excitement of Christmas morning.

I tried to edit my favorites down and 12 top looks is as low as I could go. I’d love to hear what your favorite Oscar looks were, it’s always so fun to hear everyone’s perspective on a collection. My favorite looks were of course filled with black, white and bright colors. The black and white striped gown was everything, and when I realized there where pockets I just about went into cardiac arrest. Another one of my favorite moments was when the hot pink jumpsuit came sauntering down the runway only to be followed by none other than a pretty in pink peplum! I mean Mr. de la Renta how do you do it, it’s like magic!
