This past Sunday CK and I spent the day in downtown LA with our parentals. We stopped by the Japanese American National Museum and Little Tokyo. I definitely recommend this museum to anyone who is interested in learning more about Japanese culture and the experience of the Japanese in the US. I learned so much about what exactly went down during WWII, and quite honestly a lot of what I saw and read were things that I didn’t know and don’t recall ever reading in elementary school.

We of course couldn’t stop by Little Tokyo without making sure to grab some sushi and udon! The food and shopping in this little center never disappoint, I can’t wait to go back.
