A Day In Downtown LA

Tostada at Urth Caffe

This past Saturday CK and I spent the day in Downtown LA shopping, eating and relaxing. We hit up the American Apparel Flea Market (sample sale?) and both picked up a few unique pieces for way less than their normal retail value, which was a total score. Neither of us had ever gone before and it was well worth it. I believe it’s going on into July, so if you’re downtown make sure to check it out!

We had a relaxing lunch at the Urth Caffe location in the arts district and literally spent close to three hours talking and relaxing. From there we of course couldn’t leave Downtown without stopping by Bottega Louie for some desert and coffee. I definitely recommend checking out the Urth in downtown, it’s in a fun area and not as packed as its Melrose or Santa Monica location.
